Abbreviations explanation:

.POT	(Powerpoint) These will load straight into powerpoint. Small enough to email or fit on a floppy disk
.JPG	(Joint Photographic Expert Group) Highly compressed (lossy) graphic format, very small files
.PNG	(Portable Network Graphics) Highly compressed without loss of quality

Each of the graphics files formats (.jpg and .png) are saved in the three most popular presentation resolutions:

XGA	1024 x 768 (width x height)
SVGA	800 x 600 (width x height)
VGA	640 x 480 (width x height)

Are the images royalty free ?

The images are royalty free. You can even incorporate the backgrounds in a mass produced multimedia program. All we ask is that you do not re-sell them. All the images are original. Designed "By Default!" who are a team of experienced designers. The watermark www.AwesomeBackgrounds.com does not appear on any purchased product.

How do I load an image into powerpoint ?

Instruction for powerpoint 97 / 98 / 2000 / 2002 / XP / 2003 / X / 2004
1. Start Powerpoint
2. Click on the "File" menu
3. Click on "Open..."
4. Navigate to where you saved the downloads. For CD-ROMs, Navigate to your CD-ROM drive (normally D:)
5. Navigate to the color directory of your choice (eg blue)
Powerpoint 97 / 2000 users need to change the "Files of type" drop-down,
from "Presentations and Shows (*.ppt;*.pps)" to "Presentation Templates (*.pot)"
6. Click on the file name of your choice (eg. clouds)
7. Click on "Open". Powerpoint will then open the file.
8. That's it. It really is that simple!
